How it works
Ask
Post what you need in plain words. Advice from someone who’s done it, a local’s honest take, a second pair of eyes on your CV. If AI could do it, you wouldn’t be here.
Humans reply
Real people offer to help, in their own words, with their own story. No algorithm decides who you get. You read the offers and pick the person who fits.
Talk it through
Accepting an offer opens a private thread. Sort out the details and the time, person to person.
Done, and remembered
Mark it done and leave each other a review. Reviews are the whole economy here: they’re how the next person knows who to trust.

Why we built this
We’re not anti-AI. We’re pro-people.
Use AI for everything it’s good at. We do. AskReal is for the rest: the judgment calls, the lived experience, the “I’ve been exactly where you are.” Built by three students in Hong Kong who kept needing exactly that.
